Dear Panthers,
I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable Winter Break! As we kick off the new year, I am excited to welcome our students back to school on Tuesday, January 7. Please note that January 6 is a Professional Development (PD) day for staff, so school will be closed to students that day.
Important Dates and Events
Parent Meeting – January 6 at 6:00 PM:
We invite all parents to attend an important parent meeting at 6:00 PM on January 6. During this meeting, we will provide important information about the upcoming school closure and discuss the next steps for families. We will also be available to assist with completing the high school application process. This is a great opportunity to get answers to any questions you may have.
High School Fair – January 16:
On January 16, we will host a High School Fair at IHSNO. Several high schools from the area will be on hand to meet with parents, answer questions, and help families begin making final decisions about their child’s next high school. This is a great opportunity to explore options for your child’s future.
Final High School Session – January 23:
On January 23, we will hold our final session to help parents finalize their high school choices and complete the NCAP. This session will provide additional support as you navigate the high school selection process.
Globetrotters Japan Trip
A group of students, accompanied by Ms. Stewart and me, will be touring Japan from January 7 to January 15 with EF Tours. During this time, these students will be out of school, but they will not be marked absent, as they are participating in a school-sponsored trip. If you need to reach me during this time, please email me. I will be checking emails as often as possible, depending on Wi-Fi access.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We look forward to an exciting and successful semester ahead!
With gratitude,
Dr. Berger
