Dear Students and Families,
Welcome to the first week of fall and congratulations on completing our sixth week of school! Your dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed. We are thrilled to invite you to our 6 Week Progress Alert Conferences this Wednesday from 4 pm to 6 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to discuss your child's progress with their teachers and plan for continued success.
In addition, we are excited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. It's a time to recognize and honor the rich cultures and positive contributions of the Hispanic community. Let's embrace this month with enthusiasm and learning.
Lastly, let's show our school spirit! Join us for the Lady Panthers' first home volleyball game against Abramson this Friday at 5 pm at Bricolage. It promises to be an exciting match, and we can't wait to cheer on our team together.
Thank you for being a part of our school community. We look forward to seeing you at these events and celebrating our collective achievements.
Warm regards,
Dr. Berger
Head of School

Happy Sunday Panther Families!
It is almost time to start our cultural celebrations! The Hispanic Heritage Celebration is coming up in October, and the World Language teachers and students are hard at work putting together a great event. Throughout the year we do cultural activities representative of all the languages we teach, so gauge your student’s interest in participating and encourage them to join the fun!
If you are checking PowerSchool regularly and want to inquire about something related to your student’s performance, email their teacher. If they do not get back to you within 48 hours, please reach out to me so I can be of assistance (james.davis@ihsnola.org). We have three weeks left in the first quarter. That means midterm exams are coming. Keep motivating your student to do their best!
Mr. James Davis, Dean of Academics

Flu season is coming!
The CDC states that the most effective way to prevent the flu is to get a flu vaccine. It is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and older to get vaccinated, if possible before the end of October, or as soon as possible after October.
Following these healthy habits can significantly reduce the risk of contracting the flu and spreading it to others.
Avoid any close contact with sick people; avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth; cover your nose and mouth with a paper towel when coughing or sneezing, wash your hands frequently (with soap and water), and clean and sanitize the surfaces and objects that may be contaminated with the flu viruses.
Protect yourself. Protect your family. #FightTheFlu
